So unlike the gong show that was the Apple vs Samsung in Apple's hometown, Apple has not had the same luck in other parts of the world. They just lost in Japan. Sammy will be looking strong in their Appeal.

Apple loses patent suit against Samsung in Japan

A Tokyo court has ruled that Samsung Electronics did not infringe Apple's patents for smartphones and tablet computers.
The Tokyo District Court on Friday rejected Apple's allegation against the South Korean maker over patents for transferring music and other data between personal computers and portable devices.
Presiding judge Tamotsu Shoji said the 2 makers use different technologies to compare digital files for data transfers. The judge also turned down Apple's request for a sales ban on some of Samsung's products.
