hi all,

today i sold my macbook.

to erase my data i first initialized free space (35 step) then i created a new user and deleted the old one (plus a clean with ccleaner)

is that enough or the buyer can still access to some of my data?

thanks.

ZERO OUT would have been sufficient though, no need for a 7 or 35 pass-.

And if you haven't stored anything outside your user, you should be save, though I would have done a clean install of the OS and done a ZERO OUT during the formatting of the disk.
The buyer will probably do the same, clean installing the OS, in order to get rid of any software you might have put on there.
