Hi All,
I am trying to export images from Aperture to iDVD to make a slideshow for my grandfather's funeral. I scanned hundreds of pictures and edited them in Aperture, and backed up my Aperture Library on an external harddrive. Now Aperture is telling me it can't locate any of the master images. I have done a search for them on my backup harddrive and can find the images there, but not the edited versions I created on aperture. The preview images are showing up, but the link to the masters has been broken.

When I try and do a reveal in finder the error message tells me the volume is currently off-line. Any help on this would be appreciated as time is of the essence!

Thanks
Rebecca

Hi All,
I have done a search for them on my backup harddrive and can find the images there, but not the edited versions I created on aperture.

The edited versions only exist as a datafile in the ap library.
Unless you export the edited version they do not exist as a picture.
You could try to rebuild you library but this can take a long time.
Maybe try fix permissions first (hold cmd while aperture starts up
and choose the option).
IMPORTANT! Do not quit Aperture even if it seems to be stuck for a long time.
