Samsung 830!

Doesnt matter. Both will work. One is the slim 7mm and one is the 9.5 or 9mm
Both will fit with no issues too.

Either one is fine. With the upgrade kit you get a nice adapter though to use your drive externally. Only difference. Well in this case, it'd be for your old HDD. Oh! And the upgrade kit brings a bracket so you can put your old HDD into a desktop if you want.
