Hey guys,
So im getting a new 15-inch MBP, upgrading to a Samsung 830 512gb SSD and also planning to boost the system with a 16gb RAM!

The most demanding apps I would be using are Photoshop, Lightroom, and Photomatix, which are all photo-editing applications.

What RAM would you suggest???

Thanks!

The one that is designed for it... seriously, just match the speed and then replace the other ones. On capacity it seems you already made that choice, so all that is left is brand.

Im sorta asking this question because I dont know anything about matching speed or anything.... Just askin for suggestions on which RAM they think is good...

I recommend all of these. Kingston the most due to it having the lowest Cas latency.

I dont recommend OWC, they are overpriced because they slap a "mac compatible" sticker on their products.

I recommend these, all are reputable brands with life time warranty. I had the HYPERX on my 2011 machine and loved it. If you dont want to spend the $140, the other two are still great with a slightly lower CL at 10. I have experience with both brands and recommend both highly.
