An icon called Anonymous, appeared on my iphone 3g. :( It appears to be a program for sending anonymous email. I did not knowingly download it, nor do I know how long it has been there. It may be a legitimate app, but I don't like it being there, and it will not delete. If I try deleting it through itunes, still no joy!! I have searched the forums for an answer to this to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?

Anonymous is a news feed...I'm wondering if you downloaded or subscribed to it by accident? As to why you can't delete it is a mystery...A link with information about them and what they do.

Thank you very much for the quick response. I should mention also that if I open the app, and click on 'about' it sends me to a site - www.krzysztofrutkowski.com .. As I stated it may be legitimate, but if so why can't I delete it?

Ok this is embarrassing. The icon in question was downloaded by me from Cydia. It has to be removed using Cydia. Thought I had better post this as I wouldn't want anyone looking around for the answer for no reason.
