Orders start Sept 14th, 12:01am EST?

I know dumb question, but when it says preorders start on September 14th is that at 12:01am EST on the 14th?

Just want some clarification because I am sure this thing will sell quickly.

Thanks for any help
 
It's not that it's a dumb question, it's just that it's been posted a hundred times before. It should be around 0300 EST, which is 0000 PST. I don't think it's an exact time though, and last year it crashed for 45 minutes straight and nobody could order.
 
Well, I personally would like it to be pre-5am so I can order before work

Otherwise, I'd have to wait until the afternoon and I don't know how fast these things sell out (if they do)

Thursday night/Friday AM.

If it was Friday night/Saturday AM, it would be the 15th.

Anyone know if Best Buy will accept preorders on Friday and have them shipped on the 21st?
