I'm currently on my third year of my two year unlimited contract.

I've look around the forum and some people are saying when I do a new contract and keep the unlimited, I'm going to be stuck with the 3G on the iPhone 5 while others say I will have the unlimited data with LTE.

Is there a official statement on this matter?

When you upgrade to to the new iPhone you'll get unlimited LTE obviously . Call at&t from your phone by simply dialing 611 from your device to confirm.

Official Statement?

Yep, on the first page of MacRumors.

I just read something on 9 to 5 Mac that says that AT&T customers can keep their unlimited plans when upgrading to the LTE iPhone 5 ONLY if they pay the UNSUBSIDIZED price (i.e. $649 for 16gb).

Wait, my bad...it's Verizon, not AT&T. Carry on...
