Release day delivery?

Will apple have release day delivery like its had for the iPad? I don't know if I should just get it delivered or pick it up at the apple store on release day....., thoughts?
Yes. They will. Just like the 3G, the 3GS, the 4, the 4S, and now the 5.
Okay thanks, it's the first time I get the iPhone on release day. I've gotten my iPads on release day but not the iPhone.

We don't know that yet. I'm assuming yes, I'm thinking about doing this as well, since FedEx doesn't get here until 4-5pm
I can second that. I've done it each year they handled it with online pre-orders. It's free shipping and it shows up on launch day. Inevitably there will be people freaking out because it's noon the day before and they haven't received their tracking number but it amazingly all comes together in the end as the logistics experts at FedEx & UPS get it from China to your doorstep with science fiction like speed.
The only downside, at least for me, is that if I stood in line I'd likely have it earlier in the day. Our deliveries (especially if it's UPS) come as late as 7pm. Still, worth it to be productive instead of standing in line at a mall all morning!
