Do you have to choose your plan when pre-ordering?

Or do you just buy the phone and choose the plan once you get your phone

Ask me again tomorrow. Before it actually starts no one really knows the answer to that question. ATT said in some release that people can retain their unlimited plans so I'm guessing there will be an option for that but who knows what the mechanics of that will be or if it can be done as part of the initial pre-order or not.

You'll select your plan while preordering. It's just like ordering an iPhone 4S now. Try it yourself. If you have unlimited you will keep unlimited.
