iPhone 4S topped 4 million on its first release weekend. With that, Apple is saying that they're "blown away" by initial iPhone 5 pre-sales. What is your prediction for iPhone 5's first weekend of pre-sales?

I'll start it off by guessing 4.5 million
 
1.5 to 2 million units.

That is assuming they ever provide us an actual number we can understand and not a bunch of marketing hype.
 
First weekend will include all the pre-orders leading up to the 21st.

Millions and millions... but then?

I believe by this time next year, Apple will have jumped the shark!

It had to happen sooner or later, and I suspect that the iPhone 5 will be a contributing factor in my prediction.
