is this the new iphone box in white?

Yea, Looks like could be doing white box for white phone and black for a black phone. The picture of the box on Apple's website shows a black box for a black iPhone 5

Why is it just the black iPhone that gets all the attention here? Isn't the white interesting?

The white looks great too, but the black iPhone in the black box has a certain dark, exciting feel to it. Plus, almost all of Apple's other products (in exception to black iPhones) come in a white box no matter what color the product inside is, so people might be intrigued by the different colored box.
