I have a Mid-'09 MacBook Pro. My wife has a 2011 MacBook Pro and as such has an updated version of iPhoto. We share an iTunes/Mac App Store account.

Is there any way for me to easily update my iPhoto to the version that's on her system? We are both on 10.8.

If you open the App Store app and login under same AppleID as her, you should see the iLife apps in the purchased tab and you can download and install from there.

Nope. When setting up her account, she signed in with the iTune account I already had. But iPhoto does not show there in my Mac App Store.

Does it show in the purchased list in the App Store on her machine? If it does, make sure you are logging in under the same AppleID in the App Store app on both machines and it will show up.

I don't know if the iLife apps show up there. I know that all of the apps I purchased on my machine show up when she goes to Purchased on hers.
