Iphone 5 lasts 5 hours on wifi

Screen on time 5 hours on wifi with normal brightness, i cant get higher out of it...

Anything wrong?
What are you guys life?

Calibrate the battery, it can take up a week for the battery to reach full capacity/efficient discharge rates.

How do you already have 5 hours of wifi time anyway?
 
Every year people go nuts about battery life even before they calibrate it a few times.

Wait a few weeks... then watch it get better.
 
I dont think it can make battery life double but i'l see...il give it some days.

@julie......im talking about wifi browsing with screen on.
 
I won't say mines at 100% just yet with lasting. However mine came in at around high 70% and at 10:00am- used it to DL some apps- surf web(typed on these forums also now on comp) and tried facetime/ called someone and tried speed test and surf test on LTE.

In about 5 hours I went from high 70% to about high 20% and that was with the auto brightness turning it to a decent amount.
 
Yeah give it some time to calibrate!

I'm REALLY interested to see what kind of battery life you guys get. I want to know how good it is compared to the 4S. I'm not getting a 5, I'm just curious to see how it fares with LTE/bigger display/A6 chip..

But yea, definitely let it go through a few full charge/discharge cycles before determining battery.

And thats what i only get with wifi...5 hours screen on....:(
 
I dont understand, apple said it would work for 8hrs screen on time surfing the web with LTE on the whole time?? Whats going on here? you must be doing something wrong.
 
Maybe its because i always restore from backup? I never set up as new because then i lose my data:( i else have no explanations:( gps is off and bluetooth off as well.
