UK iPhone 5 Replacement

Anybody from the UK got a damaged iPhone 5 straight out of the box? and having it replaced by Apple?
If so what time frame they gave?

I have a white 32gb small black thing between screen and white banding top left corner & same near top right corner.
Plus there is a very small chip which seems to be either under the glass or right on the edge where it meets white banding at bottom of phone just above the speaker.:mad:

Called Apple yesterday and said they would organize a replacement which would ship from far east, they also arranged a courier to collect the damaged one in a couple of days.

The after sales agent said they had been told 3-5 days before shipping and it takes priority over new orders, but yet my order status says 3-4 weeks:eek: i hope this changes.

Same here, I'm from the uk too, ordered online

I have a faulty microphone white/32gb

What number did you call to request replacement?

I called this number 0845 600 1683 initially, but reverted to taking a trip down to my local-ish Apple shop and got it replaced.:D

Same situation here. Various chips and scuffs out of the box. Apple said I'd get an email telling me it'd be 3 to 4 weeks but to ignore that as it'd only be a few days in reality.
 
Black 16, dent out the box

Getting mine replaced to, and the agent said don't worry about it saying 3-4 weeks, it will be 3-5 days. Well i hope so, I'm using the original order one in the mean time.

The order number for the replacement, is the same as the original one, so it says its already delivered etc, so not sure how to track it.
 
Mine (white) had a minor (1mm) scratch on the bevelled edge.
I'm not that fussy tho, as it's going to get used a little!
