Did anybody get white after seeing black in person?

Did anybody get the white IP5 after seeing the black IP5 in person?

Just wondering because i was dead set on getting black until i saw it up close and wow did it finger print bad and look dirty!

I personally went black because I had the white 4s last year.

I'll probably go white next year if the iPhone 5s comes out.

Both black and white looks great this year.

i agree both look amazing and was disappointed at how the black looked at the store.
Pictures of it look AMAZING and when cleaned it looks sharp but im just too OCD for it i guess haha

No, because the white model is extremely similar to my white 4S.... so I bought the black. It's really stylish.

I agree. I was dead set on getting black until I saw the white in store. They both look amazing. Still not sure which one I'm going to get.

Yeah. I have the same problem. One day I like white, one day I like black.

Wish I could have both, but this Switcheasy TONES case kind of help to go between black and white.

I think that's the highlight with the white.

But to me, do I want the attention or do I not? The white is totally eye candy, I tend to notice the white iphones more myself, while the black is somewhat stealthy. Heck I'm scared to lose mines in the dark!

I went with the black because hey, I could go ninja on it (I named it Ninja by the way) when I'm at the store taking pictures of poorly translated goods at an asian store one time (by the way, asians don't like people taking pictures inside their store).

Other things that made me want to switch is the front frame color and screen relation... I'm too lazy to explain but you can watch this video which totally explains what I mean somewhere in the middle-ish beginning of the clip.

yeah i would not let the black one go far in the dark haha

and yeah i get what you are saying about the screen but oddly enough it doesn't bother me (even though i thought it would)

That black frame with the letterboxing is hideous on the white iPhone. Personally, I would go with the black, nicks/chips/scuffs and all.

I am not sure myself...my wife is definitely getting a white iphone 5..
i had ordered black at first so that i can differentiate b/w two phones and i have a black iphone 4...but after reading all these comments and looking at the picture regarding scuffing in the black model...i cancelled that black and have ordered a white one....
hv to wait til 19th oct....:(
 
Apple are sending me the black model so I can choose which colour I want.

I currently have the White model 64GB but I've fallen in love with the black darth vader look lol

I've got the white iphone 4S, but with the 5 , I love how the screen on the black just blends in. It looks so sleek!
 
I pre-ordered black, which arrived on launch day. I was not happy with the nicks and scuffs so decided to return it to Apple and wait for a white one.

Today I went to the Apple store to look at the white model and the store was lucky enough to have stock for outright purchase. Needless to say I grabbed a white one and opened it in store to make sure it was ok.

It's flawless and I am happy with the result (just wish the screen was a little whiter). Apple is collecting my black iPhone tomorrow.

My partner also received a black iPhone on launch day - he kept his.
 
All my past iPhones and iPads have been black, so once the white i5 is back in stock around here, I'm getting one.
 
both look great this time around. The black actually gets less finger prints than the 4S b.c the aluminum back. Last year, the back of the phone was just as bad as the front with finger prints.
 
I had the opposite effect,had a white iPhone 4 and wanted a white iPhone 5 until I saw the black and I switched right before I got my ticket in line to black and could not be happier. IMO the black iPhone 5 is the sleekest iPhone yet
 
I love the stealth and sleek look of the black version. Now if only apple offered the same kind of look on the mbp's
 
As soon as I saw the white I made up my mind. This was my first iPhone model that's white and I LOVE it! :cool:
