Return/Replace iPhone 5 for Diff Model

Long time iPhone user here. I recently pre-ordered a Black 16 GB model from Verizon and received my phone on time and it is great. I was wondering what I should do if I want to move to a white 32 GB model within the 14 day window. Since stock is so low how can I get a replacement? Is my best bet just going into a store?
