I Love L.A.
I have an iPhone 4S with iOS 6 and when I open up the music app to play a song, then open up safari, the music stops. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.

Certain web pages call audio, which pauses the music app.

It should not be happening on every page however. I didn't have this issue with my 4S, and I pretty much run Spotify 24/7

I have always hated this feature....I'm listening to music and surfing and if that web page has any audio embedded it shuts off your music app...to me this is wrong...the music app should have priority and not some flash audio on any website. Yes if I want to play audio on that page that is a direct action I am taking so yes that should shut off the music app but not without my action.

Sounds like the issue isn't as much with a foreground/active task (like a browser) taking priority over background music, but more about audio/video playing on its own without user interaction/permission.
