All I'm using is safari and Facebook. If this is considered poor battery life, I'd like a replacement. Is this normal for you guys?

What are you doing on Safari and Facebook. Watching videos? Streaming audio? Those could all affect how much battery is being used.

Also what type of connection are you on? WiFi? 3G? LTE?

At your current rate, your battery will last approximatley 8.33 (repeating of course ;) ) hours. That's not that bad for consistently using it for 30 minutes.

Your use is equivalent to an estimated use time of 8 hours and 20 minutes, internet use on the iPhone 5 is estimated by apple to last around 8 - 10 hours. There is nothing wrong with your phone, get a grip of petty self.

No streaming videos/audio, just browsing the web. I'm on wifi, and my brightness is about 95% bright.

95% brightness? Then absolutely the battery will take a dump. I suggest you turn the brightness down first as that will help the most with battery life.

Awesome thanks for everyone's help I appreciate it (besides the couple smart asses).

I'd also say it was normal. Keeping your screen brightness at that level will also have a big effect on battery life. I think Apple keeps the brightness at about 50% for their battery tests.

I think you need to give it a little more than 30 minutes to determine your battery drain rate.
