Cuz it doesn't work that way. Try it. Set Invert colors on, take a pic of your screen, set invert colors off, then go see the pic you just took. Tell me what your pic looks like
 
I know what the inverted colors look like. I've tried it out before. I'm not going to go and try to take a screen shot of it.
