converting micro to nano sim

so I have a micro sim card and I used a micro to nano cutter and it fits but the sim card too thick to fit into iphone5 what can be done about it?

Did you try the card out already? I used my droid razr micro sim and cut it down to a nano sim. It fit fine.

Yes I did it wont fit in the sim slot.

use sand paper to shave it abit

Weird.
I cut a Tmobile mircrosim to nano by using scissors and fit fine inside my i5.
Didnt have to shave or sand the back at all.
Its probably not cut right and sticks out of the sim tray on one side that's why it wont fit and slide in.
Cut it a little more by hand and see if it fits perfect inside the sim tray or there's a side that sticks out.
