I've been trying the reservation system non stop, the closest I got was last night when for a moment the check out now button sputtered and then the store pickup selection went to unavailable (for a 32gb black vzw at w. 14th st).
Since last week I've been making my daily round of phone calls to local best buys, apple stores (roosevelt field & manhasset), radio shacks and vzw stores & retailers. No one has any stock.
Today when I called the Apple store at the field, the lady I spoke to (who was totally nice and great btw), seemed really hesitant to tell me if people still go there and line up before the store opens in the morning. She also couldn't confirm if and when they would receive any shipments, which I understand.
Has anyone had any luck lining up outside of any the local stores in the morning before they open?
