Help Please-- after syncing photos from iPhone 4 to iPad photos are grainey

Upgraded iPhone 4 to iOS 6, have not upgraded iPad. When photos sync to iPad via iCloud the results are very grainy. Did not notice before upgrade on iPhone 4.

Thanks for suggestions.
