While they haven't been put in iOS 6's Maps.app yet, the STM (Montreal public transit) app just got remade and the new version uses Apple Maps instead of Google Maps. All the data is there and the app does all what Google Maps used to do for public transit.
I guess it's just a matter of time before the default Maps app integrates that data. Perhaps Apple is waiting to finish the work with other cities before updating Maps.app instead of doing a progressive rollout for each city.
