Noticeable diff- screen protectors?

Just curious as Ive always used the cheap screen protectors from Monoprice or the like, for both my iphones and ipads...is there really much of a difference in quality or "performance" between these and the $12-$20 a pop brands?

I've used SGP and Power Crystal and have to say they are so much better than the cheap ones from Ebay or Amazon. They stick to the screen better and are less bubble prone and the edges stay down better in my experiences. Especially the clarity with no rainbowing even in sunlight.
 
I personally find them practically the same. Now oleophobic ones are very different from the cheap ones. I recomend Green Onions oleo or SGP oleo.
