I've just got a new iMac and now I need to sell my old MacBook (2009 white model).
It needs cleaning up and wiping and suchwhat, but because I'm going to sell it, I need to roll the OS back. Currently it's running Lion, which I'm going to come out and say I pirated (the intention was, I didn't know if it was going to run properly and wanted to test it, then I was going to buy the Lion upgrade, but just never got round to it).
When I got it, it had Leopard installed and I've got the upgrade disk for Snow Leopard which is what I want to roll it back to so I can sell it. Thing I don't know is, because my SL disk is an upgrade disk rather than a full install, do I need to roll back to Leopard with the disks that came with the machine, then upgrade to SL, or can I just stick the SL disk in and restore with that?
Cheers
