Does 4th Gen iPad stay cooler than 3rd Gen?

Will the A6X run cooler than the A5X? My 3rd gen gets pretty warm and I prefer to use its Smart Cover to keep my hands cool, but if the 4th gen stays cooler I'd consider upgrading. Any impressions noting this?
 
My guess is that part of the reason Apple has gone ahead with the upgrade is to resolve some issues, probably including the heat that you mention...which they naturally wouldn't talk about.
