Annoyed iPhone 5 apps arnt all updated yet

I thought the majority of the Apps would be updated by now. When I show someone my iphone running games, mainly all are letter boxed. Bigger screen=smaller apps.
And the photos are really small to, smaller than the 3.5" display photos!!
