Buying @ Apple Store NYC

Hi,

Im visiting the USA soon and I am interested in a MacBook Air (base model) with 8GB.
Do you think that retail apple stores in NYC will have this configuration?

I know that the "standard" configuration comes with only 4GB but I want to know if the stores have in stock another configurations of Macs, not only the "base" models.

I'm not sure if they stock them like that. However, you should be able to build it online and set it up for in store pickup.

Not sure if you've heard / seen, but it's a major disaster area in NYC. It's going to take while for things to return to normal.

Yeah, I know the bad situation of NYC but I am traveling next month, so I hope things will be better

Could I order it BTO in the retail Apple stores? The problem I think will be the delivery time

In order to get a computer other than one with a Standard Configuration you will have to order it online and do in store pickup. They will usually hold it for about a week.
