LOL

There seem to be a number of quite bitter droid boys hitting the comments there.

I wonder what makes them even bother reading a review on an iOS product when they obviously hate Apple and iOS .

This is exactly why I am excited about it:

"There's no tablet in this size range that's as beautifully constructed, works as flawlessly, or has such an incredible software selection. Would I prefer a higher-res display? Certainly. Would I trade it for the app selection or hardware design? For the consistency and smoothness of its software, or reliability of its battery? Absolutely not. And as someone who's been living with (and loving) Google's Nexus 7 tablet for a few months, I don't say that lightly."

Straight from the Verge review: "And that's a good-sounding set of stereo speakers, by the way."

Regards,
Tom

Cant wait for mine to get here! I guess they dont think its such a downgrade after all:rolleyes: Looks like it benchmarked great in the engadget review.....

These reviews just top the cake. Basically anything that Apple releases is "golden" because of their ecosystem according to the reviews. Bottom line is, Mini is overpriced and the screen sucks. Screen is what you interact with the most on a tablet. I'm getting sick and tired of these "revolutionary" Apple products that do nothing but try to reverse the missed projections and improve the bottom line.

I really hope that the current changes at the top make Apple the great innovator it once was. I've been with Apple through the good and the bad over the years, and the lack of innovation in the recent product releases are reminiscent of the 90s too much. Ive, I have hope that you can push iOS into new heights, and deliver that great products that made Apple what it is today.

iPad mini FTW

Battery life...

Engadget tests of the iPad mini resulted in around 12 hours of battery life. I wasn't expecting too many surprises, but that's a big deal IMO.

The battery life and the speakers are great news. I'm still a little concerned about the ram (512) but am excited none the less.
