Mac Mini i7 & Dell U3011

I'm still trying to decided between the new iMac or a new mid-level Mac Mini to replace an ailing 2009 iMac. My original thought was the Mini and a Thunderbolt display, but I've read some good reviews about Dell's 30" U3011 monitors. Have anyone used this combination, and if so, how do you like it?
