iPhone 5 Prepaid Plan in Europe?

I have the Verizon iPhone and will be working in Germany for ~3 months at the beginning of next year. I'm pretty sure the Verizon iPhone 5 either comes unlocked or can be unlocked. I've tried researching different prepaid nano sims (including this forum) and thus far haven't had any luck. I looked at Vodafone and T-Mobile. Vodafone doesn't seem to offer any prepaid plans more than 200MB per month and T-Mobile doesn't support any pre-paid nano-sims from what I can see on their German website. Any advice would be appreciated.
