Trying to get rid of red (actually white) eye in my photos, using IPhoto 11 Ver.9.4.2. Following instructions as provided in IPhoto Help. The "auto fix" doesn't do anything, even with the photo enlarged. The manual fix seems to add a few gray pixels to the middle of the tool (doesn't matter how large you make it), but when I scale the photo down again, there is a very black, shiny crescent on the left sides of the pupils, and most of the glare is still there in the center of the eyes. Eyes either look WAY too black, or you can see black spots over white pupils.

Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Suggestions?

Thanks.
