The 4Q report from Apple lists shipment total of 22.9 million iPad units, but does not break it down.

Besides the mini, iPad 2, and iPad 4, will the iPad 3 be in figure?
The detail is if they sold its stock to others before iPad 4 announcement, or if they had stock on hand in Apple warehouses.

For that matter, what does Apple do with old stock?
AFAIK, Apple.com and Apple stores stop selling iPad 3 the day iPad 4 was announced, so what do they do with leftover?

Thanks.

We'll never know exact numbers since Apple looks at all models as "iPads". The old models are made into new iPad minis. :)
