My MacBook Pro is auto-typing!!!

HELP ME PLEASE!

So I turned on my MBP to see that my x key wouldn't work (I can't capitalise it either.) I restarted the laptop to see if that would fix it. After I rebooted my MacBook keeps typing a lot of x's in all of my iMessage conversations or if I open the iMessage program it spams x's in this content box.

I am honestly mind boggled... I haven't spilled anything on my MacBook or damaged it in any way!
 
Do you have a BT keyboard? I had something similar happen to me just to realize that something was resting on my BT keyboard making it continually type the letter s. Drove me nuts for a couple hours until I realized what happened.
