It acts like it is going to update and restore it then it says there was an error. I have tried different cables computers and the hold the home key and lock button to reset nothing works. Any help.

iPhone 4G Help

I found that website before posting my question on here and thought maybe it was the security software like it says but, after trying three different computers and also two different usb cables nothing has worked i couldnt find any firewall or security features that would affect this phone i have another iphone and it is updated on the same computer and works just fine. I will try again tonight but are there any other options. thanks

Just to confirm, you did say that your iPhone does power up at least? Is it possible for you to show me the icon that you see on your screen? Either take a screenshot and post it here, or go on Google to look for the icon and post the link here.

help

no i cant get the screen to display anything, i tried plugging it into the wall computer restoring that screen wont display.

nope nothing just stopped working randomly. The phone is only about 6 months old but no warranty it was the last remplacement verizon would give me

Did you call AppleCare to check the Apple warranty status. The above mentioned you contacted Verizon. The phone itself may still be covered under Apple's warranty.
