Buying used 2010 Mac Pro- price?

What is a good price should I buy a used oMP Mid-2010?

i come by used oMP 2010 for sale and here is the spec:
I'd like to buy one for video/music/photo editing

CPU: 2x2.93GHz 6-core Westmere (5.1, 12 core Intel Xeon)
64Gb Ram
DVD drive x 2
500Gb SSD drive x 1
2TB HDD x 3

I have a Macbook pro 2011 2.3GHz i7 (SSD) and iMac 2011(2.7GHz i5) too.
Wonder if I should buy this Mac Pro and sell MBP or iMac..
Will it be significantly faster for video/music/ photo editing using oMP?(2x or 3x? In which apps?)
Though I see I'll lose thunderbolt port only/and SATA 6G...

Any advice/suggestion from similar users here?

Shall I save more and buy a new Mac Pro 2013 instead??

The above specs of the 2010 12 core Mac Pro may have a price of around $4k to $4500. Usually the 5.1 2010 Mac Pros, specially the BTOs are still holding its value. The 12 core 2.93ghz is somewhat hard to find as I have observed. It's a good machine and personally I would recommend your buying this as this model is uncommon. This will help your video editing tasks as most video apps utilize all 12 cores.

You can install USB 3.0 at a minimal cost of around $30 as substitute to Thunderbolt. You can also add an extra HD at the second empty optical bay giving 5 internal HDs for maximum storage space.
