Hi

I have thousands of photos in my library that i organise by year and then event.

When viewing them via the Apple TV, i have to scroll down to the bottom to the most recent photo's, is there any other way of doing this?

I am aware of the last import function, but this is not the solution.

Also, sometimes it takes ages if i want to look at the photo's to load, is the only answer to have seperate libraries for perhaps each year of photo's
(i keep photos by year and then event, all on an external hard drive)

Thank you for and advice

This is how i solved similar problems: I create two smart albums; one that contains the pictures for the last 30 days and another with the pictures from the last year (these are usually what we want to show other people). I also have a couple events for vacations we took that we like to show.

Once i had the smart albums and appropriate events, i went into iTunes File > Home Sharing > Choose Photos to Share with Apple TV ... and selected these items.

Now it is really quick to navigate to the last 30 day album to show a recent activity with friends.

HTH
