over the weekend my girlfriend dropped her iPhone 5c yet again. awhile ago when she dropped it one of the corners had popped out and we snapped it back in, a click of the screen developed and it was fixed by apple.

Now again the same corner (top left) it popped out when dropped but this time much further, and a tiny bit in the corner where you see your signal seems cracked.

Its not like a normal crack where the screen will actually crack but in the corner it seemed a less lit up portion like maybe a digitizer and the glass separated. I wasn't sure but the screen still works perfectly.

Today, she dropped it again (happens a lot) and it seemed to fix itself to where the screen is back to normal. Does anyone have a clue on what exactly had happened?

Could be the glass was pulling away from the lcd but when it was dropped again it got pushed back together and since there is still glue it held.

Pro-tip: Butterfingers should stop dropping the phone.

But seriously, she should get a good case if she can't help abusing her devices.

If your GF is not responsible enough to hold onto her $500 device maybe a case with a strap should be bought.

Maybe it was locked which, according to Best Buy, is far cheaper than the unlocked version.

Get her a case which screws together, and use security bits that only you possess :p
