If I purchased an external TB storage encloser with at least four bays could I set up two of my drive as Raid 0 for speed and the others as JBOD for backing up or some other function or do you have only the choice of one of the Raid configuration or JBOD for all the drives in that encloser.

I know that with the Thunderbay IV from OWC, you can make up any variation of RAID 0/1 with the 4 drives as you like, you can create say 2 or 3 drives as RAID 0 and leave the remaining drive(s) as JBOD.
