Hello,
I've been reading through your MacPro forums and I'm a bit stumped as to the cause of the problem. It's seems as if the vidcard has died and I was able to see the machine on the network so it should rule out logic board.
What I'm not clear here is do I have to upgrade the firmware on the Mac1,1 Quad 2.66 to a newer one to run a X1900 (PC version) hence why I still get no signal? I do not see any blinking lights on the logic board to indicate an issue and I've tried booting with a Windows and Linux via USB and nothing.
I've reset PRAM and SMC and still stumping me. Do I have to flash the firmware to atleast 2,1 (assuming it hasn't been done as this isn't my machine) and if so can you link me to it? And do I have to flash the card with Mac firmware as well or it's not necessary
Thank you
