iMessages messages disappearing on Mac

After the 10.9.3 update, my iMessage messages on my Mac disappear right after I send them even though they're being received by the recipient and I can see them properly on my iPhone.

Also, I can still see the incoming messages but once I restart/close iMessage they're all gone.

I've tried the following:

  • Changed Start new conversations from my Apple ID on iOS/Mac
  • Mobile number and Apple ID are set to receive messages on iOS/Mac
  • Signed out from Mac, restarted, signed back in.
:confused:

Nothing seems to fix it :confused:

Any clues?
