Don't know where to post this but I'm sure someone can help. Got an old windows 7 PC that the hard drive went bad so I replaced the hd and reloaded a system image I had in an external drive. Problem is on my old hd it was 750 gb. The new 1 I put in is 1 tb. But when I look at computer hardware settings it still shows the capacity of the old 750 gb. Any idea how to fix this?

I suspect your restore included the previous disk partition scheme. You could try using a partition editor to grow the partition to the full size of the disk.

Back up before you attempt such a thing.
