When I refresh a forum page with CMD+R it takes 10 to 15 secs before it's rebuild and mocks up the forum lay-out. If I'm correct "cdn.macrumors.com" is the cause for this long time refresh?. When I use the previous url I get a blank white page with only the text "Images" in my browser.

How can I change this behaviour?

Mac OS X 10.9.3 (13D53)
GooGle Chrome Version 31.0.1650.63

Does it also happen in Safari or Firefox or Opera?

I use Safari 6.0.4 on OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and do not have the problem. The same applies for Chrome version Version 35.0.1916.114.

Thanks for your prompt reply. No, all other browsers you mentioned are ok.

UPDATE: I now have the Version 35.0.1916.114 of Chrome, issue remains the same.

I'm not sure why it would take you 10-15 seconds. It's only Chrome? You have any Chrome extensions that might be conflicting? cdn.macrumors.com by itself should only show "Images" text. It just hosts our images.

Thanks Arn,

Yes, checked the url already, indeed only text "Images". Does cdn.macrumors.com hosts ads images as well? In all my browsers I have AdBlock running.
