I bought this off eBay the other day for £110, it was mentioned that the MacBook didn't show nothing on the screen, it did chime and it would cut out maybe 5 seconds in... So I received it today I removed the battery, a couple of times and I finally got the screen to show, It was getting up to the apple logo and chiming as mentioned and cutting out at about 5 seconds.
The battery is the original and has 1250 charge cycles.
The MacBook has never been dropped or had water spilt on it (Supposedly)
It's in extremely good condition so I'd like to fix it up and use it myself as it suits my needs.
So what I want to know is, is the problem the battery or charger port or something else? I have had it booted today somehow (???) I don't even know myself for the majority of the day (4+hours) I then started to watch some videos and the battery drained and it is now back to where it will only start for 5 seconds (Chime and logo) then cut off.
I tried to start it without the battery and it would not show any life.
