Sometimes I get these black bars at boot before I get to the login screen on my rMBP running Mavericks. This time, I booted into single-user mode to force a trim on the SSD and after that it did this. This has happened after booting from windows too. Has anybody else see this behavior before?

I don't really know why it would do that, but mine booted with black bars like 30 minutes ago. I had shut down my rMBP while it was still connected to a Sony Bravia though, which had to view with bars due, so I assume it was still "thinking" in that state when I had rebooted. I rebooted again, and the bars did not show up this time. Sent from my MacBook Pro.

Last time this happened, it wouldn't go away unless I connected the tv to it via HDMI, booted, disconnected the cable and reboot.
