Maybe an annoucement about OSX8 but they are not going to talk about the iPhone 6 if that is what everyone thinks.

They need to go back and look at what they talked about a year ago.

uhm if they do announce, they won't be sold @ the same time. there's a difference between announcement and release date LULZZZ

New computers announced at WWDC are often available for sale immediately after the keynote.

I know this is not the case for the iPhone and iPads... other apple hw probably, if that's the case then it won't be down until the official announcement, so yea apple store should still be up since we didn't even start the WWDC LOL

Still no announcements on Apple's sites in countries other than the US (i.e. UK), there's just a little banner in the bottom corner with a link to the US site.

It's like going out on a date with the hot chick thinking you're going to get to 3rd base, only to get caught on 2nd.

Use your brains!

New products don't go on sale after the Keynote presentation. The beta versions of iOS 8 are only being offered to devs today. Then it gets tested/tweaked all Summer long until it's finally ready for public release sometime in the Fall.

Sheesh. Is this your first rodeo? Relax.

Might try using yours first, historically apple has announce some hardware at WWDC. While I was not expecting the iPhone 6(unlike some poll creators). I was expecting some hardware. That said I am not heartbroken.

I didn't say that they don't announce. I said that there wouldn't be any new products selling in the Apple store today as a result of the Keynote.

In 2012 and 2013, new laptops were announced at the WWDC keynote and went on sale immediately afterward. Compared to recent history, this keynote was an anomaly.

This really needs to be closed. However this is my final statement on the matter. As I said, historically speaking Apple has announced and subsequently the items have been available after the keynote. In order to update the store the store is usually closed. Therefore as I also said, I was expecting some sort of hardware release that is why I expected the store to go down. So of the posters in this thread and other threads really need to grow up. However I would assume most people hopefully would discredit them due to the juvenile nature of said posts.
