I'll get iPhone 5s in US but after that I would move to Korea. Is that phone gonna work in Korea too? I went to the Apple web site and it said it'd work as long as it's unlocked. But I'm not sure..do I have to get Sim-free phone or just get Verizon or AT&T phone and unlock it?

Does korea have gsm providers not CDMA? as long as it's unlocked and there are korean gsm providers I don't see why not.

Note also that Verizon model is factory unlocked.

I asked this one of the carriers in Korea and they answered it should be on a frequency of 800Mhz(for CDMA) or 2100Mhz(for WCDMA) or Band 5&3(for LTE). Where should I go to check this? Which carrier's phone do I need to choose? And also they'd provide talk,SMS,Data but they won't provide MMS.What does that mean?
