My iPad Mini connects to my company wifi normally but I had my iPhone forget that network due to some limitations (Facebook access). This morning when I came in to the office my iPhone connected to the network without me setting it up. My MBA and iPad were also connected. When I disconnected my phone my iPad also disconnected and forgot the network. As soon as I reconnected it my iPhone was also connected. I guess Continuity is pretty controlling!

That doesn't sound like the continuity feature. That sounds more related to iCloud Keychain if I were to guess.

That's iCloud Keychain, it should have been doing that since iOS 7.

Yeah my devices do that and it's annoying. Just switch off wifi for the particular device and you'll be fine though.

Well thats interesting because it works both ways for me ... for example, if I have both iphone and ipad on a network and I forget it on the iphone , in a few seconds, my ipad drops the same network ...
