Hi guys,

I've got an iMovie vid that I did for my school (just a load of pics with a few short vids etc) and the head wants to distribute it on DVD to parents. Couple of questions - would you use DVD-R for compatibility? Also, how would you get it to just load like a normal DVD I.e. Without having to put in a computer and double click on the file? Just so that it loads up the video automatically. I know iDVD did that but is now not available.

Thanks for any help

Just an added note. Not sure with Burn, but with Toast you can add the feature to Auto-play upon inserting the disc in a DVD player. I have posted a screenshot below.

Thanks guys, awesome advice thanks!

On a separate note, do Apple still support/let you download the most recent iDVD version before they stopped updating it? It seemed like a great bit of software to go with iLife?

Thanks

You can get the iDVD download directly from Apple at this link. I believe all versions are there, from very first to last.
